Memento Mori - Vertabrae in Cloche

"Memento Mori - Vertebrae In Cloche" by Harold Ross

Years ago, my late Father-in-Law, Joseph Toglia, gave me these vertebrae.

As a Professor of Neurology, he used them while teaching his medical students. I decided to photograph them as a “set piece”, placing them in a cloche to help portray their significance.

Light Painting enabled me to reveal the incredible texture and sculptural dimension.

Happy Light Painting... and always remember... Skim The Light.

Creating light painted still life images is extremely rewarding, and something which I teach in great detail throughout my comprehensive light painting online video course.
